mentioned the Captains Cabin in South Croydon which has long gone, as has Rileys of Croydon which was half tackle and half tropical fish - God I loved that
shop - and another in Croydon at Reeves Corner. All gone.

Anyone else remember tackle shops from their youth which have passed into history?

Where along its length does go from being upper reaches to middle and from middle to lower?

Published by Medlar Press

Taken from a sentence of the Introdroction.

This book distils the author's expert biological knowledge, decades of angling experience, environmental awareness and concerns, and a profound love of
rivers and the life that pervades them.

What more can you add, a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Highly recommended.
