I am off to the US in a week or so and am spending a few days in New Orleans followed by 2 weeks driving around Florida and would love to do some saltwater
fishing when I am over there. I am doing a day backwater fishing off of key west but wanted to see if anyone had any other tips. I am not going to be able to
bring any tackle with me as I am try to travel fairly light.

Any help appreciated.

I had a week at Marco Island in Florida a few years ago, the house backed onto an inlet bay thing, I caught loads of catfish on prawns float fished 4 or 5 feet
out. I got a rod, reel and end tackle for frankly peanuts from a local marina, also from the beach again with prawns caught a few different fish.
