Posts: 468 03/07/2008 09:16:40	Tags : None >>> Would like to say many thanks on the site to two great guys Lennie Peters [Dave Treadwell] & Pete Sampras [PJ Martin] who were my expert guides on my 2 day trip to the Stour. I was attempting to join the Throop 6 or 7 Chub club sadly I missed out, but it was nothing to do with the work or the enthusiasm the lads put in. They passed on their tips and some secrets and even put me into an Aquarium swim were I could watch 30 chub swimming over my bait. I will of course invite the boys back to Wasing to return the favour, and look forward to returning to the Stour to chase the dream of a really big Throop chub. Once again PJ & Dave many thanks I really appreciated your time and help. I know I shouldn't advertise on here but Dave does a lovely parking facility called "Park with Peace of Mind "basically he chooses with his Throop experience special safe places to park your vehicle, for example he will avoid crowded mill car parks. Posts: 34 03/07/2008 12:11:49	Thanks for coming down David you were great company and a pleasure to fish with Sadly the big Chub weren't playing but David's switch from Barbel tactics to Chub tactics was effortless and on another day will catch big time He did however catch fish on both days...... Heres one of Pete Sampras and Roger Daltry fish spotting...... With Roger saying " I can see for miles" and Pete saying " Did you just hear a loud bang from the road ? ".....
