I read many postings on other sites about being able to walk the river banks during the closed season.
The clubs I'm in on the Kennet do not allow this nor, the H.A. clubs I've been a member of in the past.
I feel a bit envious of those that are granted access as I would love to watch the Barbel spawning on the shallows.
Of course allowing access for this purpose would also grant access for those who would carry out a heavy pre baiting swims campaign which I am totally against.
How would a club police against this type of selfishness.
