Hi
Sorry I have not been about lately. I have been caring for my father Stephen who was ill for a while and yesterday at home he passed away with me and his
friend Bruce the Newfie by his side.
He loved his barbel fishing and in his last years had fished his local areas of the Thames and enjoyed a few seasons on the Windrush.
He was a member of Wasing for a while before leaving the syndicate and enjoyed every moment down there. He meet many fellow anglers there who were all
fantastic and he caught a few barbel too.
He also liked to keep up with this sites chat and even though he was not a pc chap he enjoyed looking at the photos and hearing about how everyone was doing.
Sorry I cant seem to find the words at this time.

So sorry to hear the sad news Stuart , as you know its hard to find the right

I don't know you but you are in my thoughts today. I'm sure your dad is smiling from above that he has the closed season to reflect whilst he gets used to his new surroundings wherever they be, and that he is happy that you and his friend were with him as he embarked on his journey. Thank you all for your kind words and support. Its a very hard time for me and every time I think of him I seem to break down.
Its strange but when I was trying to resusitate him while the ambalance was on its way I was in work mode which is what I am trained for but it was only when they arrived and started to help did I then start to feel emotions. The ambalance arrived within 3 minutes and another arrived just afterwards and I owe them a huge thanks. I tryed so hard to keep him but I could not. Miss him so much. |
