Hi there
My tackle is all sorted. I've got one bag and rods for Tench fishing down my local lakes and another for when I start barbel fishing, probably next month. Yesterday I left work a little earlier to get to the tackle shop for my Thatcham and Newbury permits and had to take a diversion due to road works between the A4 and Brimpton. When I eventually got to the A4, it was gridlocked with traffic due to a smash up on the M4 between Theale and Newbury. So I didn't make it in time. Had a game of snooker instead. Tonight I left work even earlier and got to the tackle shop at 5:25pm. Guess what? He was closed. Early closing? What's that all about? Try again tomorrow! Roy |

oh yeah and to answer your question danny,i caught it on 2 tiny elips pellets glued on a hair..thought as it was baking hot and the middle of the day id start
on very small baits and get the smaller fish going..how wrong was i eh..
