Computer problems. (Andy's last post).
Confirming my presence on the trip. Been away in states for funeral (much loved mother-in-law) so no accommodation fixed (can camp in the field which I
believe is ok- who to contact for permission for this ?). Will be coming off the back of annual pilgrimage of one week to Throop and The Royalty. No internet
from tonight on so looking forward to the meet and the fishing..
best Andy Micky |

thanx for the' heads-up!' Wesley., great to hear you still out there.
Shame you're not on the Anchor Meadow trip.... so we need to meet up on the W. sometime. DR is apparently guesting PJ and DT sometime soon so needs a member to help, but not me just yet. Because I'm ever so tardy as ever, and also constrained with manic gadding about recently and have not got my renewal in yet, but will do, especially when I explain the Wasing excellent value ticket and the fact I'm due a double from my efforts last season. I rest my case. Due to unforseen circumstances (now, where have you seen that phrase recently?,?, ; ( you're always welcome on The Medway, Ray, as I'm now a club Memb Sec, but the trundlin' will be a bit sloooow, and the bites mere ephemera)), have not been able to post effectively and have been away in US for family funeral; yet also planned and foorseen circumstances such as in week-long trip to Royalty and Throop (just after PJ and Dave T had shown DR how to empty it apparently, as I and one other caught bugger all, (well, I'm not gonna say I blanked amd my mate caught an 8lb'er (Royalty), as usual, and then tons of tench, from a local lake, which I had to photograph; now am I ?....)) three parentheses..., count 'em.., So no worries, I still here, still barbel nuts, probably sleep in the car on the AM trip tommorrow, as turning round from Royalty and no o/night booked, (good excuse profferred to She of The Permissions to fish through the night, as she worries 'bout me, so just starting sorting gear), and I have to ask; ' Is this really how I envisaged semi-rtetirement ???' best to you Wesley, whatwife

Welcome to Barbel Angler Hugo.
The last time I saw Andy he was making a good job of landing a Barbel for P.J on the Anchor Meadow fish-in.

The funny thing there Micky is that at about the same time and at the same place, I was doing exactly the same thing for Andy only on the subsequent day for a
simillar fish.
